Today’s Daily Devotional for Women
Almighty God, our Creator in Heaven, the maker of this entire universe – is YOUR stronghold.
Do you know how powerful that makes you?
Do you know how powerful you are?
So now that you understand the kind of strength, might and power strums through your body because the Lord is with you, what are you going to do with it?
How will it change your outlook?
Are you going to give yourself permission to harness that power and be the greatness God intended you to be?
Or are you going to continue to make excuses, to let the fear win, to watch one day fade into another without you ever having taken the first step towards your destiny?
You are made for greatness, sister of Christ.
You are made to be legendary, daughter of a Risen King.
Fear is simply a parasite feeding off your dreams and your passions and keeping you from strengthening your fight.
But you can harness God’s power, harness the Lord’s light to defeat that parasite and choose to unleash the passion within you.
And that first step is the hardest step.
But once you take it, the parasites will grow smaller, your strength will grow stronger, and if you don’t quit, you WILL become your legend for Christ.
Prayer:
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for being my stronghold. Thank You for putting Your power within me, for loving me and choosing me and designing me with purpose. Today I choose to stop feeding the parasite of fear and instead start feeding the power of faith. I believe in You and what You designed for my life. It’s time for me to take that first step. I love You always.
