Today’s Daily Devotional for Women
Science is clear on the power of positive thinking. And the Bible is as well. If you have thoughts of joy, them feelings of joy will manifest around you. But if you focus your thoughts on negativity, then a spirit of negativity will manifest around you.
Our words – whether they are spoken aloud or thought privately in our minds – have power. The Bible says whatever a person plants (sows), that is what she will receive as a consequence or benefit of her actions (reap). So if you constantly plant words of negativity and insult about yourself into your heart, then you’ll only experience negative feelings as a result.
But if you constantly think positive, self affirming thoughts about yourself, then you’ll experience positive, self affirming thoughts about yourself as a result. Keep in mind this won’t happen overnight. It takes an entire season to plant a fresh field of crop. But the more you work at it, the more you’ll start to experience positive outcomes rather than negative ones.
And that’s why it’s important to protect yourself from your own self-doubt and doubt thrown at us by others by taking the time now to create an affirmation statement that reminds you each and every day to think of yourself and your destiny the way GOD thinks of you and your destiny.
And what does He think?
That you are a woman capable of doing ALL things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13)
You are a woman with a spirit of POWER and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7)
You are a woman who has the Lord protecting you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9)
You are a woman who God WILL use to fulfill His purpose (Psalms 138:8).
You are strong (2 Corinthians 12:10)
You are loved (Jeremiah 31:3)
You are chosen (Deuteronomy 14:2)
You are wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14)
You are the benefactor of a divine inheritance (Ephesians 1:11 – 14)
You are destined for rich rewards (Hebrews 10:35 – 36).
It doesn’t matter who says You’re not good enough, strong enough, smart enough, or talented enough because GOD SAYS YOU ARE good enough, smart enough and talented enough.
And that makes you a Godlywood Girl, a powerful woman with passionate faith.

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for seeing me, for loving me and for knowing me. I pray for the strength to think of myself the way YOU see me so I can step into my legend in Christ.
