We can’t earn our way into heaven, so that’s not why we do good deeds. We do good deeds because those acts are what draw others to the voice of Christ. By unbelievers seeing the way you love others, the way you care for others, the way you go above and beyond to share Christ’s heart with others, THAT is what is going to draw them to want to become part of the love of Christ.
