Bible Verse of the Day
2 Corinthians 5:10 – For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.
Excerpt:
If you live your life according to the limitations of other people, you won’t be able to see the unlimited success God created for you.
And when you get to judgment day and appear before Christ, all those people who set limitations for you are no where to be found. It’ll be you and you alone held accountable for what you did with the gifts God gave you.
It’s up to you to decide whether you’re going to give yourself permission to go after the legend God intended for you, or whether you’re going to follow the standards that your parents, your friends, your boss, and other people in your life tell you to live by.
Your purpose is inside you. It’s in your gut instinct, your talents and gifts and abilities. It’s where your joy is, where your passion is.
Are you going to stifle it because someone else said it’s not good enough? Or are you going to unleash it because God says you WILL receive your due.
Whatever choice you make, you’re going to have to give account to God for it. So why not give yourself permission to live with passion and embrace the gift God put inside you?
It’s yours for the taking.
Prayer:
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for creating me with purpose. Today I choose to live by Your expectations for my life, rather than the expectations of people who don’t fully understand the vision You designed for me. I love You always.
