Hey sis, want to create free t- shirt mock ups? In this video, I'm going to show you an amazing new tool I just discovered for how you can create free t- shirt mock ups using a tool called printr.com/mock ups. So if you're not already subscribed to the Godlywoodgirl YouTube channel, make sure you hit that subscribe button. My goal is for this channel to be the number one resource for all women of faith who want to achieve their greatest purpose for Christ as Christian entrepreneurs. So if you want to learn how to use free t- shirt mock ups, girl grab your pen and paper. Let's dive in.
Printr.com/mockups
So the first thing you're going to do is head over to printr.com/mockup. Sis, you don't even need an account in order to be able to use this tool. It is absolutely amazing. You're able to use their mock up tool without needing to sign up for anything.
Select Your Shirt
Step number two is to select your shirt. So in order for you to use this tool effectively, you need to know exactly what type of t- shirts and design you are selling in your t- shirt business. Okay, so the thing about the Printr mock ups is that they have different types of mock ups for different types of brands and different types of shirts. So if you have a mock up for certain type of shirt, but you're really selling a different type of shirt, that's really misleading in your advertising, you may get a lot of returns for that. So you ought to make sure that you choose the correct brand and type of shirt. So make sure you've already you already know what you're selling your t- shirt business before you come over here to create your mock ups.
Choose Your Shirt Style
Once you already know what type of shirt you're selling your business, the third step is to go ahead and choose that type of shirt style and color here on printr.com. And this is so simple. It's so amazing. So right over here where it says brands, you're just going to click this and you're going to navigate to the type of shirt that you are selling. So let's say that I'm over here selling some Hanes shirts. So I would just select Hanes and now all the Hanes types of shirts that they have are going to appear. So let's say that for Hanes, I'm over here, selling crewneck sweatshirts, Hanes crewneck sweatshirts, right. So it says when you change the product, we will try to fit your artwork bla bla…bla. I'm gonna hit OK. So now it's going to go ahead and update to my Hanes crewneck sweatshirt that I'm selling to my Christian t- shirt business. Now what you can do, you can choose here to have it either be the cutoff body, or no body at all. And some of these other ones have actually more options that you can choose which is pretty amazing. So that one's a hat. So let's say that you go to the next level. And let's say you choose this lady sporty shirt. So this one has the full body with the smile, full body without the smile, the cut off body, and the no body which is nobody. That's actually my favorite type to put on my website. So these are the types that I like. But let me go over with my example which was Hanes, it was the crewneck, man, okay. And then nobody with the ghost and size types, you can have the standard size or you can have the jumbo size but it's even bigger. And that's how you actually select your style of shirt. Now right up here, you can select what color it is. So let's say I'm selling light steel crewneck Hanes shirts, and I would select this one and that's my that's the style I'm gonna use for my mock up. I'm selling deep right I changed by to deep red. If I'm if I'm choosing navy blue, I go to navy blue. So these are all the different types of colors you can use. Look at this ash gray. I love ash gray so much. But again, you want to make sure that this actually matches what you're truly selling in your t- shirt business because you don't want to mislead people. Let’s say I am selling a white crewneck sweatshirt in my collection. So this is the mock up image I would want.
Upload Your Design
The fourth step is to upload your t- shirt design. Now that you've got your mock up chosen, you need to upload your t- shirt designs so that printr.com/mock ups can put that design on it and you can then use it on your website. To upload your t- shirt design onto the mock up that you chose, you're just going to go right over here where it says images, you're going to click images, go ahead and read these upload rules to make sure that you agree to them. So I've read them and I agreed to them and then you're going to click here to upload. I'm just going to click right here and then I'm going to navigate to my actual design file which is the Godlywoodgirl logo. So I'm just going to press open. And it says: “the file you uploaded has a resolution of 96 DPI, our service requires print image to be 300 dpi”. That's fine with me because I'm just using this as a mock up. So then I'm going to take it and I'm going to place the image where I know it sits usually on the shirt that I sell. So right there is where I like to have it. So that's how you upload it, you just click right up here, you click here to upload and then you place it on the actual image.
Now if you wanted to resize it, you just click the image and you go ahead and you can make it smaller. You can scale it bigger so that it fits to the edges. You can move it around on the page if you thought it would be cool to be like somewhere over there. You want it to really match the design that you sell in your t- shirt business though, so make sure you keep in mind how you actually design your shirt and your t- shirt business. Down here you can center the image horizontally on the shirt, central and vertically on the shirt if you would like to, if it makes it easier for you to design and go ahead to show and hide the principle area which is here and then show and hide the max principle size which is here, which helps you when you're actually placing it on the shirt.
Download File
And the fifth and final step. Once you have your mock up your image uploaded, you have your mock up chosen you got the right color. Now it's time to download the actual file. So right over here, where it says generate mock up, you're just going to click here and click generate mock up print file. So now it says: “please wait while we're generating the file”, and then it's going to actually give you a mock up image that you can download for free love. So right here, I'm going to click download. And I'm going to save it on my desktop. And if I show in Finder, this is the actual mock up image. And now I can go ahead and take this image and use it on my website to promote this shirt. How cool is that? So let's see if we wanted to do this for a different type of shirt. Let's say if we wanted to do it for a Gustar. For this performance tea, and let's say we wanted “the nobody goes” again. Okay, and then once I 'm done with that, I'm going to generate my mock up print file. Then I can click download, save it to my desktop. And now I've got two mock up images. So if I were selling both the actual crewneck and the t- shirt, I have both images that I need to list this on my website for sale. And that's how you use printr.com/mockups in order to create free mock ups for your T shirt business.
