Spreadshirt anybody? If you want to learn how to use Spreadshirt to create your own Christian t- shirt business online, then stay tuned to the end of this video because I am going to give you the ten steps to using Spreadshirt o launch your very own Christian t- shirt business.
Hey sis, it’s your girl Stephanie Rodnez, Founder and CEO of Godlywoodgirl and Creator of the Godlywoodgirl School of Business. In this video, I’m really excite to share how you can use Spreadshirt to start your own t- shirt business for free with you. So, if that is you, hit the subscribe button and let’s get started with learning how to use Spreadshirt to launch your own Christian t- shirt business.
Step 1: Go To Spreadshirt.com
The very first step is to go to Spreadshirt.com.
Step 2: Open Your T- Shirt Shop
The second step is to click the “start selling” to open your own t- shirt store online option. This allows you to have your own t- shirt store hosted on Spreadshirt. This saves you from having to build your own t- shirt store website. You can sell your shirt right from Spreadshirt’s own hosted platform. It is incredible!
Step 3: Name Your Shop.
The third step is to name your shop and create your own username and password. If you are a brand, then I really recommend naming your shop according to your brand. Here at Godlywoodgirl, I have named mine Godlywoodgirl. However, if you are not quite sure of what your brand is going to be, and you are not certain of what you will be doing, then go ahead and name it after your own name. That way, it signals who you are purposed by God to be an entrepreneur.
Step 4: Do The Guided Tour.
The fourth step is to do the guided tour. For some reason, a lot of us do not read the manual when we buy something. I don’t know why that is so but don’t fall victim to that. Do the guided tour! Spreadshirt shows you exactly how to use their platform. They show you how to do this for free. So, do the guided tour and they will show you where everything is.
Step 5: Design Your Shirt.
The fifth step is to go ahead and design your shirt. That which differentiates Spreadshirt from other platforms is that you are able to upload about 25 different designs at once. Spreadshirt will just put it on all their stuff for you. Then you select the product you want. Other print-on-demand business modules require you to select a product and upload your design onto it. Go ahead, design your images, and upload them to Spreadshirt.
Step 6: Upload Your Designs
At this step, you are going to upload your designs by clicking the t- shirt icon in the left panel. You are going to click the t- shirt icon and upload your designs. I recommend not starting out with more than four or five. This is because, if you give your audience too many options, they usually won’t buy anything. They don’t want to lose out on anything so they choose to do nothing don’t do that. Start with four or five options.
Step 7: Select Your Product.
Once you upload your design, the seventh step is to click the image and select the products you want your design to sit on.
Step 8: Price Your Shirt.
The eighth step is to enter the product name, description, tags, and design price. You can choose how much profit you want to make on each shirt. Print-on-demand means that you are going to be spending a lot more money than if you ordered the shirt yourself and had it printed at a local printer. That is fine because to me, print-on-demand is a great business module for somebody who wants to become a Christian entrepreneur but has little capital to start out. This is just a way for you to get started. Later on as you are producing more shirts, then it is going to be more cost effective for you to open your own warehouse, have your own shipping, have your own printing equipment, and all that stuff. For now, this is a really great way to get started out without having to spend any money upfront. So, choose your price points and let Spreadshirt know how much money you make on each shirt.
Step 9: Setup Your Store.
The ninth step is to set up your store by clicking the Spreadshirt logo in the left panel that is shaped like a V. click on that and you are going to set up your store.
Step 10: Launch Your Store.
Once you have set up your store, go ahead and click on “launch store” and your shop is ready to go.
That is how you use Spreadshirt to launch your own Christian t- shirt business. Keep in mind that even though this is super simple, the hard part is not in launching your t- shirt business. The hard part is in finding people to purchase your shirt. You ought to do this by creating an audience of people who want to buy from you online.
