Do you want to learn how to write an e-book and make money with a coaching program? Well sis, stay tuned to the end of this video because I am going to share with you three steps for how to write an e-book to make money with a coaching program.
Hello, this is Stephanie Rodnez, Founder and CEO of Godlywood Girl and creator of the Godlywood Girl Author Toolkit. So, the reason why I am so excited about this video in particular, is that if you are in the School Of Business, you know that I teach something call Product Tiers. So, in every business, you should have different price points, different packages that people can purchase to do business with you. As an example, if I am teaching people how to create a sales funnel, I have got my initial package, my tier 1 page which is free. There, I give you my little checklist on how to build a sales funnel.
I’ve got my tier 2 package which is $27. I wrote an e-book: “How to Make a Sales Funnel That Earns Money When You Sleep.” So, you can get that from me for $27.
Then I’ve got my tier 3 package which is the Godlywood Girl School of Business. That is where I show you how to build your sales funnel with actual demonstrations, checklists, downloads, swipe files, tutorials, and worksheets. That is my tier 3 offer.
I also have my tier 4 offer where I will personally build your sales funnel through my agency. These are four different product tiers that allow you to get the solution that you want based on your price point or your level of investment. The exciting feature of coaching programs is its a tier 4 offer. It is an offer worth charging $1,000 plus for. So, if I’m building a sales funnel for you, I’m charging you $4,000. That is the power of a tier 4 product. It allows you to make more margin in your business so you can do more of what God purposed you to do as an entrepreneur.
Coaching programs are phenomenal tier 4 products because if you are personally coaching somebody to help them achieve results, that in itself is a premium service. You are giving them your time and attention. You are spending one-on-one time with helping them get that done. That is a premium product that you should be charging at least $1,000 for. I love the idea of using an e-book to sell your coaching services. This is because that $7 book can turn into a $2,000 sale for you. A lot of people use this strategy online.
Some of you may have heard of Jeff Walker’s “Launch” book. He gave the book away for free. All you had to do was pay for shipping. However, the book presold his $2,000 Product Launch coaching program. A lot of different people do this. It is an excellent strategy to meet people where they are at and at their price point. Maybe some people won’t be able to afford $2,000 and that is why you gave them the book so they can still have the e-book that they can work with. Some people do not want to do it by themselves. They want you to coach them. So they read your book, they love the format and they would want you to help them do it. You can bring these people into your coaching program.
It is a phenomenal way to serve people while being able to increase your profit margins in your business. Now, remember that if you do not know how to create a coaching program, get into the Godlywood Girl School of Business. That is one of the things that I teach you in the Product Creation Toolkit. I believe in it very much. As a coach, you help people personally achieve their goals. It helps them get accelerated results and I have seen it over and over again. The women who are in my coaching service get results so much faster than the girls who try to do it themselves. I believe in coaches, I believe in coaching and I have a coach myself. Now, let us talk about how to sell your coaching services if you are writing an e-book.
STEP 1: Figure Out the Specific Problem That Your Coaching Program Solves
The first step, and probably the most important thing to do, is to figure out the specific problem that your coaching program solves. Remember that every product needs to be a clear solution to a clear problem. My coaching program cannot be: “I’m going to help you get the results that you want.” What results? How? How long are the results going to last? What is the time frame? You need to get specific.
My coaching program, like my T-Shirt Business Accelerator, is a 5-day coaching program where I help you launch your T-shirt collection. The problem I solve is: “you are having trouble launching your T-shirt collection.” The result I give you: “You have a launched T-shirt collection.” It is a clear solution to a clear problem so you want to get extremely clear on the problem your coaching program solves.
STEP 2: Market Research
Once you know what problem your coaching program solves, the next thing to do is a bit of market research. This is to help you figure out the number one question people are searching for concerning the problem your coaching program solves.
Still using my T-shirt business accelerator as an example, I need to figure out what questions people are searching for. This will help you figure out how to launch your T-shirt collection. For me, that question is: How to start a T-shirt business. That is the question most people are searching for. The results that they want are: Launch a collection, but they do not search for that. They search “How to start a T-shirt business.”
So you would have to figure out what people are searching for. There are a couple of ways that you can do this. If you go to Google.com and you start typing in the problem that you solve with your T-shirt collection and you put “How to,” Google will autofill the most common questions people are asking. You get the same result when you try this method on both YouTube and Amazon.com. They will both autofill the common questions that people are asking. So, figure out the most common question people are asking. This is very important because this is where we go to step three.
STEP 3: Write Your E-Book by Answering the Questions
Once you know the most common questions people are asking, now you know what your eBook will be about. You are going to write your e-book to answer the most common questions people are asking. Did you see what we did there? We took the market research and we made sure that our e-book answered that question. I recommend that you title your book “The Most Common Question People Are Searching” because this way, you keep coming up on the search result.
And when you write your e-book, you are going to write it in a way that pre-sells your coaching program.
So, if my book is “How to Start a T-Shirt Business Online,” chapter one would be “How to Find Your Niche.” In chapter one, I will explain how to find your niche and at the end of chapter one, I will say: “If you want help doing this, make sure you click here to sign up for my coaching program. There, I will personally help you through these steps so you can find your niche.” The entire book would be designed this way so basically, you teach the solution, and suggest to personally help them through the steps if they sign up for your coaching program.
This is the most important part; your e-book needs to presell that coaching program. If you do not know about sales copy, get into the Godlywood Girl School of Business. Check out the Marketing and Traffic Toolkit there. I will show you how to sell anything with my 20 Steps sales formula which is what I use in my business as well. Just make sure that your e-book is solving a problem. Your goal is not to withhold information in this e-book. This e-book needs to answer that question people are asking so they can get results on their own if they want to.
Our focus with this e-book is to sift through the people who do not want to do it by themselves. They want to hire you and yes, there is a certain population that does not want to do it by themselves. They want somebody to hold their hands through it, and those are your coaching clients. Make sure you give them great solutions. Tell them what it is but tell them: “if you want me to help you apply it, go ahead and visit me here” as well.
